BG 1 hr post – Blood Glucose Reading, 1 hour post meal. Should not read above 140.

BG 2 hr post – Blood Glucose Readings, 2 hours post meal. Should not read above 120.

CO – Coconut Oil

EVCO – Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

EVOO – Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Fat – when I say the word “fat”, I’m talking about natural fats such as animal fats or plant fats. Examples of good plant fasts are coconut or palm oil.

FTW –  Stand for “For The Win”. This just means that the statement preceding this is a positive or good thing.

Grok – For a full explanation of the term ‘Grok’ , check out “The Definitive Guide to Grok” on MarksDailyApple.com.  In short, ‘Grok’ is the symbol of paleolithic ‘man’.

LC – Low Carb. For Diabetics, this is consuming carb grams in the sub 50g per day range.

Meat – This word means “of animal origin”, usually muscle. When I say “eat meat”, it refers to beef, pork, poultry, seafood, fish, eggs, etc.

OFBG – Overnight Fasting Blood Glucose reading, before consuming anything to eat or drink (water and black coffee is ok).

Normal Blood Sugar Range = 70 – 100, however Non-Diabetic Average is approximately 83….so this is my target.

Sat Fat (or Satfat) – Saturated Fats, saturated fatty acids or SFAs.

TNJS - Thriving, NOT just Surviving.

Veggies – Lower Carbohydrate Vegetables including lettuce, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach …

VLC – Very Low Carb. For Diabetics, VLC means consuming sub -30 grams of carbs per day.

Again… please let me know if I need to add more terms… thank you.
