30 Day Challenge – Update – Days 1-3

Braised in butter and coconut oil >> 9 oz of sirloin and 8 oz of ribeye... very medium rare. :)

This post is an update on my progress in the 30 Day Challenge including as you can see… FOOD PICS! Don’t know what the 30 Day Challenge is ? Read this link by Clicking Here.

Fluffy Bacon and Egg Frittata ( with a little Heavy Whipping Cream)

Strategy:

I’ve always been a glutton… it’s just that now I eat ‘good primal foods’. It’s why I love intermittent fasting, I am typically not hungry in the morning after eating a full dinner, complete with healthy proteins and fats…. so skipping breakfast is easy for me. I do not always skip breakfast… but I usually do.

My strategy for the 30 Day Challenge is to eat ‘plenty’ or until fully sated the other two daily meals. I am not counting fat and protein grams, I know roughly what it is… I have been eating the same way for over a year now.   I always keep a running total of carb grams … but that’s easy when you mainly eat animal meats and fats. :)

Nutrition Update:

Roast braised with bacon ... I also cooked eggs in the 'juice' :)

Pretty boring actually… just meats, fats and very little carbs. I did have a few bites of the mixed veggies while I cooked them for my wife…

The food pictures on this post are some of the foods I’ve eaten the first 3 days.  In addition, I’ve eaten eggs, butter and canned tuna. :)

Exercise Updates:

I set some lofty exercise goals… I’m comfortable with most but the Sumo Squat and Sit Ups are going to be a ‘pain’… literally and figuratively.

Below is the Summary through day 3.
