Wrightsville Beach, April ’11

I am posting pictures of our trip this weekend for two reasons…
1) So you can see how beautiful Wrightsville Beach and Wilmington, NC truly are.
2) So you can see… I live a normal life. Well… a normal life for a fit, non-diabetic. :)

Activities

My exercise???

a) Swimming in the 64 degree ocean.
b) Push Ups on the beach
c) Beach Sprints
d) Jumping Jacks
… no pictures of the exercise, had I known that due to bad weather the first day would be my last chance, I would have made sure I had more pictures of the first day’s activities.  I actually exercised on the beach the morning of the 3rd day …. but I was the only person willing to get up and see the sun rise. :(    (I had no one to take pictures)

Pics of our Trip

Note: My camera could not focus well (auto focus) … so many of the pictures are very sub par, I included the best ones below.

This was THE best shot ... sadly it's not that great on enlarged view. :(

The picture above is now my ‘wallpaper’ for my laptop and cell phone. :)

This is the best 'picture' as far as picture quality is concerned. Nice color too. :)

The picture above was a GORGEOUS scene … sadly the picture is out of focus.
As BEAUTIFUL as the ocean and beach are … the Intercoastal Waterway is equally as beautiful in a different way.   The waterway has beautiful homes and nice boats, marinas as well.  Sadly, the above picture is the only one worth showing due to poor picture quality.
Lastly, here is a brief video of our trip …..

Note:  I walked and exercised barefooted… swam in the ocean and ‘played’ with my sons.
… in other words I LIVE! … I THRIVE!!!!

… YOU can too…. but not if you stay on the ‘carb up and shoot up’ diabetes treatment program of the American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Diabetes Educators (CDEs).   Say NO to their ‘diet’ that benefits the Large Pharmaceutical companies, Monstanto and PepsiCo!!

  1. OH EM GEE! These pics are fantabulous! I need to get out there. I especially love Kure Beach, but Wrightsville will do just fine! Thanks for posting!

    1. I took soooo many more that were great … but my Black Berry’s Camera was not up to the task…and I just NOW realized why!!! :(

… I had it set to ‘close up’ photos due to the food pics. Glad you enjoyed them.
