24 Hours of Le Steve

Have you heard of, “24 hours of Le Mans!?” … this is nothing like that. LOL! :)

This post will be pictures of blood sugars, activities and foods for one day. I’m going to try to take blood sugar readings every hour or two once the day begins. Hopefully it will be more helpful and inspirational than the race.
Purpose: To educate, motivate … and perhaps entertain. :)

Ed’s Bill: Government Controlling Diabetes Speech

Diabetes Educators and the Medical Industry do not promote ‘self-management’… stating such is LUDICROUS! The medical industry promotes using a ‘diabetes care team’, all of whom get their ‘cut’ from public and private insurances. They all combine to make diabetes self-treatment impossible by promoting a blood-sugar-elevating diet.

Carb Requirement Nonsense

I look to our distant past to see if there are ways I can live closer to how we were designed to live, but I test everything against my blood sugar levels. Normal blood sugar levels are the key to THRIVING with diabetes, not living according to some dogmatic fantasy reconstruction.

Folly Beach – Day Three

When I arrived, the sun was not visible due to cloud cover. Then suddenly, the clouds gloriously parted and the sun was visible over the horizon. I watched intently as the sun began to climb the sky over the Atlantic.

A glowing, golden orange ball in the sky. It’s reflection colored the water and the waves that broke in its light …a TRULY surreal scene.

Folly Beach – Day Two

From sun rise to past sunset, we keep on the move when we are at the beach! As I noted earlier, I had no energy shortage and was able to keep up with my sons throughout the day.
