ADA’s Harmful Diabetes Diet Advice

The American Diabetes Association has caused an immeasurable amount of pain and suffering.  This post provides the details of just one of many examples of their harmful diabetes diet advice.

  • As you read this post, keep in my that I successfully manage my diabetes with low carb paleo
  • The topic of this post is a food no diabetic should eat.

The food in this post does not benefits diabetics, it does benefit Big Food and Big Pharma. There are many who have changed their lives “for the good”, by going to a low carb paleo diabetes diet.

I state this over and over but I will repeat it one more time… EVERY SINGLE PERSON who ‘goes low carb paleo’, every single one reduces drugs and insulin.  They do not eat the foods in the picture above, ‘low fat cornbread’. :(

Low Carb Paleo Reduces Drug Requirements

Celiacs, Crohns, Diabetes Type 1, Diabetes Type 2, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Arthritis, etc, it does not matter.  All reduce drug requirements.  If you work Low Carb Paleo, low carb paleo WORKS FOR YOU!

Why do I call the ADA… the  American Diabetes Ass ?

Cornbread Does Sound Good

“Cornbread does sound good… “, the ADA says.

Good for whom?  Good for Big Food, Big Pharma and the Medical Industry?  Certainly not for diabetics.

Exhibit A

“Oh Yum”!!! … awfully giddy for someone pushing foods that cause blood glucose spikes, which require diabetes drugs or insulin to knock down the spike!!

In short … this post was on the American Diabetes Association’s Facebook Page….  so the inquiring mind that I am, I wanted to see what grains and baked goods the ADA was pimping today.

This looks suspiciously like harmful diabetes diet advice.

Exhibit B

As you can see… their real purpose was to pimp a cook book… full of “Ultimate Diabetes” Recipes…  uh huh.  These are recipes guaranteed to CAUSE DIABETES not ‘treat’ diabetes.

Still looks suspiciously like harmful diabetes diet advice.  Let’s look at the ingredients and nutritional information.

Exhibit C     Cornbread Nutritional Information

30 grams of Carbs per Serving! … are you kidding me?

Pimping Cornbread to a DIABETIC???

… only if you are selling drugs  or “diabetic services”.

I have not had Cornbread nor grains in almost 7 years. But what do I know. I’m just a type 2 diabetic with normal blood sugar… oh and I take -0- drugs , -0- insulin.

30 grams of carbs for 1 serving of cornbread.  I do my best to keep people FROM eating these foods so they can normalize their blood sugar.

ADA’s Harmful Diabetes Diet Advice

How many servings of cornbread  do you think an obese diabetic trying to ‘eat right’ is going to eat???  After cooking it and smelling it bake in the oven…. the entire house FILLING up with the aroma.
The ADA is  KILLING the very people they swear to defend.

Especially when their Certified  Diabetes Educator tells them it’s ok to eat cookies and cakes … as long as you ‘plan for it’.

The American Diabetes Association MUST CHANGE….  the ADA’s meal plan is harming people … EVERY HOUR of every day. Millions suffer while a relative few profit.

Reduce Your Blood Sugar the Warrior Way

Below is my personal ‘diabetes care’ manual. It is truly diabetes friendly, not Big Food, Big Pharma and Medical Industry friendly.  Every person who follows my plan improves blood sugar control.  Not coincidentally, each person who follows my diabetes care plan reduces the profits of Big Food, Big Pharma and the Medical Industry.

  1. 30 grams of carbs?!?!?! Sometimes i go days on end without consuming 30 grams of carbs combined. 30 grams in one swrving for DIABETICS? Beam me up!

    1. Yes, 30 grams of carbs for a side dish of Cornbread is excessive for you Hank. But ….. then again, you are not trying to ‘garner’ favors from BigPharma by selling drugs for them… :(

  2. Docs put patients on huge doses of insulin and multiple oral meds that stimulate the pancreas to release exogenous insulin. These poor people have to eat enough carbs to keep their blood sugar from crashing. It’s a nightmare rollercoaster. According to Dr Bernstein, doctors fear being held accountable for low blood sugar complications, but high blood sugars can always be blamed on the patients. God forbid they should ever recommend regulating one’s carb consumption based on individual blood glucose response.
