Ailments Then and Now

Below is a picture of a list of my ailments…then and now…

I am convinced that ALL were due to my high inflammatory, high carb meal plan combined with a sedentary lifestyle.

Since those days, specifically since my date of diagnosis 2/15/09,  I have reduced my inflammatory (high carb) meal plan and I exercise almost daily.  The ONLY ailment that has not been ELIMINATED is lower back issues. The low back flare ups have definitely decreased in severity and frequency but they still do occur. Typically only when I play basketball but I am NOT going to stop playing basketball voluntarily any time soon. :)

* I did leave out some “diabetes complications”, relating specifically to high blood sugar such as blurred vision, neuropathy, which cleared up after normalizing my blood sugar. Luckily I corrected my blood sugar in time…. don’t wait… take action and become a Diabetes Warrior TODAY!
