Alzheimer’s Disease & Paleo
Today, the common thought is that Alzheimer’s is a progressive and debilitating disease… but is it? Or is this more failed conventional wisdom?

Backed up by not only my experience but also those of many others a ‘low carb paleo’ approach is by far the best meal plan to help you lose weight.
Fortunately for ‘us’ … a low carb paleo approach is the best way to lose weight, maintain normal blood sugars and maintain optimum blood pressure. :)
I am changing the things I cannot accept.
And I cannot accept …
“Big Food, Big Pharma and the Medical Industry profiting from harmful dietary, nutritional and medical advice.’
I can not accept it, I will not accept it and I am changing it … if only one person at a time.
Change the things you CANNOT ACCEPT!
“These results suggest that even for people within the normal range of blood sugar, lowering their blood sugar levels could be a promising strategy for preventing memory problems and cognitive decline as they age,”
Homemade pork rinds are SO GOOD!!! And so good for you. It is a high fat, moderate protein food source and most importantly, pork skins are diabetes friendly!
To many, following a low carb primal meal plan is very limiting (at least initially) … Therefore being creative in the kitchen and having a willingness to explore other foods and other food preparation techniques is important.
My heart goes out to all who suffer due to the harmful diabetes treatment protocols promoted by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE). A harmful diabetes diet and wrong blood sugar targets cause much pain and suffering.
I know how to control blood sugar levels … and I know how not to. I see people NOT controlling blood sugar level…all the time. :(
You would have to be a hermit living a deserted island to not know of the reported advantages. Well another option… if you were a monkey with his eyes closed and covered so as to purposely avoid seeing the information.
It is time to say “enough is enough!”.
Enough greed, corruption and money influencing our dietary guidelines.
Millions suffer everyday while a relative few profit.
What year is this, 1970? What… it’s 2014?amy-campbell
40 plus years after the failed low fat, high carb campaign and we still have harmful advice coming from a so called ‘diabetes educators’ promoting a high carb, grain based meal plan.
40 plus years of miserable failure in not only not preventing diabetes … but in treating diabetes.
I love her attitude and perseverance! … and this has nothing to do with diabetes or paleo. It’s about taking responsibility for your own health.
A medical industry member is parroting harmful information. Just like ‘highly educated’ certified diabetes educators, just like doctors, just like nutritionists etc etc. … they all (or almost all) promote a high carb, low fat, grain based meal plan for diabetics!
And it causes untold pain and suffering… needlessly!!!
Another example of harmful diabetes advice … from the Medical Industry. Improper diabetes advice is harming millions every damn day.
I want to have non-diabetic normal blood sugar levels.
Why? Because we know that diabetes related complications occur at higher levels of blood sugar. High blood sugar is toxic to every cell in the body. Toxic levels of blood sugar harm all of our cells and therefore our organs. This toxicity causes retinopathy, neuropathy, organ failure, amputations, etc etc.
Why in the hell would I want diabetic blood sugar levels?
Things I am thankful for. I am thankful many things including the sun, my feet, Diabetes, and truly normal blood sugar.
I look at McDonald’s fries now and I know that……….they’re not *really* fries. Sadly they contain harmful ingredients and perhaps even more than what we know those to be… breaks my heart. The “food” we see in front of us? It is just “food-like products”….all sick, sick lies. I am sad.
Some are more lighthearted than others and all have a more somber undertone.
…. some that I have posted on social media… and some that I decided not to post due to their more acidic nature.
Achieving this goal … pretty much sums up who I am. I am certainly not the strongest guy around, far from it. But when I set a goal… I do not QUIT!
… practically everyone who is reading this post could achieve EVERYTHING that I have achieved.
You simply need to do what I did… start.
